2. Intellectual Property & Legal Game Emulation
Freeware, Homebrew & Authorized Software Only
RetroVerse strictly hosts and distributes verified homebrew, public competition entries, and freeware software explicitly cleared for non-commercial public distribution and multiplayer netplay by their original authors.
We do NOT distribute commercial copyrighted ROMs or unauthorized proprietary game assets. All software assets are catalogued with verifiable developer provenance records.
3. Acceptable Use & Player Conduct
When utilizing our multiplayer rooms, chat, or host streaming features, you agree not to:
- Engage in harassment, hate speech, threats, or abusive conduct against any player.
- Attempt to manipulate input relays, inject malicious WebRTC payloads, or forge room signaling.
- Attempt unauthorized administrative access, privilege escalation, or brute-force attacks.
- Transmit unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content through voice or text chat.
4. Service Availability & Termination
RetroVerse is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We reserve the right to suspend accounts, lock rooms, or deny access to any user found violating these terms or endangering community safety.
